“About 15 years ago, Custom Docks built my first dock. As my family grew and the Corp increased the size of docks allowed, we began to think how nice it would be to have something larger. Our first experience with Custom Docks had been so positive that we did not talk to anyone else. With the help of Don and his sales team, we drew exactly what I wanted for the size and types of our boats. Every cleat was positioned on paper, every detail thought out. We now have a beautiful LARGE dock that is as grandchild safe as a dock can be. No splinters, aluminum railing around the top, safety latches on all gates, plenty of up top room for large family or friends or riding toys. I had an idea in my head of a water level bench; the idea in my head went to paper and then to reality. My wife has the flag pole she always wished she had on the old dock. Custom Docks attention to detail is very noticeable and greatly appreciated. I had a couple of minor “tweaks” I needed after installation which were quickly taken care of without question. It has been 8 months since the delivery of the dock that Custom Dock Systems manufactured for us. The purchase experience was everything a customer could dream of, from the tour of the Custom Docks manufacturing building, to explanation of the construction of the docks, to planning the design of the dock, to the final delivery as promised and when promised.
My nephew Ben and I had the interest of seeing how the dock was going to be assembled in the final stages. I was extremely impressed with how everything fit perfectly together from the shop and the detail and workmanship of the team of men that performed the final phases of construction.
The dock is beautiful and we are very proud of its appearance and quality. We had one visitor say he had been on several Corp of Engineer lakes and had never seen such a beautiful floating dock. We noticed we had many boaters drive slowly by during the summer to take a look at the dock. Within a couple months of the purchase of our dock, we noticed two other Custom Dock Systems docks, of the same style and design, installed just around the next point from us.
We are very happy with our decision to choose Custom Dock Systems for this important investment and look forward to spending many more hours of fun and relaxation on our beautiful dock.
