Custom Dock Systems, Inc., was originally known as Custom Steel and Wood, Inc.  With the addition of aluminum dock products and an array of flooring options, we felt the old name did not represent the dock structures we build today.

Custom Dock Systems, Inc., has been designing, fabricating, and installing quality dock structures since 1968.

From our humble beginnings of building docks in my father’s backyard on Lake Hartwell, we have steadily grown to be one of the largest marine contractors in the Southeast.  However, with this tremendous growth we have never wavered from our original business concept of “Total Customer Satisfaction.”  We offer you a reputation for providing the highest quality construction–a reputation confirmed by over forty years and three generations of marine service to the Upstate lakes.

Custom Dock Systems, Inc., owns and operates two state-of-the-art dock-construction facilities with over fifty thousand square feet of fabrication area to meet your needs.  One facility is specifically designed for handling, storing, and welding all-aluminum docks and related aluminum products.  The other facility is designed for steel welding and fabrication.  Both facilities are capable of producing structures of any size, from the simple, single-slip private dock to the multi-slip marina project.

We have built thousands of private docks and marina slips for developments you trust for quality, such as The Reserve, Crescent Communities, and The Cliffs Communities.  Each slip was custom built to the owner’s specifications and engineered to withstand all the elements of the property location.  We have never sold the cookie-cutter-style dock that can be pulled from a prebuilt inventory.
